You do not need to write anything, design anything or think about a website at all. I do that part. What I do need is the raw material only you have, and almost all of it is already sitting on your phone. Send it in one message, however messy, and the build starts the same day.
The nine things
The basics, spelled correctly
Clinic name exactly as you want it to read on the site, full address with the landmark you give patients on the phone, the number a person actually answers, your WhatsApp number if it differs, and an email address.
Your real hours
Including the afternoon break, the day you are at the hospital instead, and whether Sunday is closed or by appointment. Patients turning up to a locked door is the fastest way to lose one.
Every service you offer
Just a list is fine. Add a rough price or a range where you are comfortable showing one, and write on consultation where you are not. Tell me which three you most want more of, because those get the best position on the page.
Your qualifications
Degrees, specialisation, years in practice, hospital attachments, your registration number, memberships, anything you have taught or published. This is what makes a stranger trust you in six seconds, so do not be modest here.
Photos of the clinic
Eight to fifteen, taken on your phone in daylight, held sideways. Outside with the board visible, the entrance, reception, the consulting room or chair, and any equipment patients ask about. Tidy up first, that is all the styling needed.
One photo of you
The single most valuable file you will send me. Stand near a window, look at the camera, have someone else take it. A real photograph of the doctor outperforms every other image on a clinic website, every time.
Where your reviews live
Your Google Maps link, your Practo page, JustDial, anywhere patients have written about you. Do not copy them out. Send me the links and I will pull the real ones and put them where they change a decision.
Three sentences in your own voice
Why patients come to you, what you want them to feel walking in, and one thing you do differently from the clinic down the road. A voice note is perfect and honestly better than typing. This is what stops the site sounding like every other clinic site.
Anything I must not say
Claims you are not comfortable making, treatments you no longer offer, an old partner's name that should disappear, a preferred domain name. Also tell me if your council or association has advertising rules you follow, and I will keep the whole site inside them.
What you do not have to do
Not your job
- Writing the website textI write all of it and send it to you to approve.
- Making the photos look niceI crop, straighten and colour correct them.
- Choosing colours, fonts or layoutThat is the part you are hiring me for.
- Worrying about spelling in your notesRough is genuinely fine.
- Buying anything yetYou see the finished site before any of that.
How to send it
One WhatsApp message with the photos attached and the details typed underneath is ideal. A Google Drive folder works just as well if there are a lot of files.
Send it in pieces across a day if that is easier. Nothing breaks if the photos arrive on Tuesday and the service list on Wednesday.
Voice notes are welcome for anything. Talking for two minutes about your clinic gives me far more to work with than a typed paragraph, and it takes you a fraction of the time.
What happens next
- I read everything and ask two or three questions.Usually about a service name or which treatments matter most to you.
- I write, design and build the site. You do not need to be available while this happens.
- You see the whole finished thing on a link.On your phone, before you have paid anything and before you have committed to anything.
- You tell me what to change. Two rounds of changes are included, and small fixes stay free for thirty days after launch.
- It goes live on your own domain.Registered in your name. I walk you through that part, it takes about ten minutes of yours.
The clinics that send this material in one go usually see their finished site in a matter of days. The ones that send it in fragments over three weeks wait three weeks. That is genuinely the only difference.
